RPF Constable Recruitment 2024. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has released a notification regarding the recruitment of Constable and Sub-Inspector posts. RPF looks after the security of railway property.
The notification is to fill the 4,660 vacancies. Out of 4,660 posts, 4,208 are for Constables and 452 are for Sub-Inspectors. According to the notice, the recruitment process will run from 15 April 2024 to 14 May 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for RPF Constable & SI Recruitment 2024
a) Educational Qualification
• For Constable Posts: 10th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board (by the Govt of India)
• For Sub-Inspectors (SI) Posts: Graduate (Bachelor’s degree) from a recognized University

b) Age Limit for RPF Constable and SI Recruitments 2024
For RPF Constable and Sub-Inspector Recruitments, the candidate’s age (as of July 1, 2024) should be:
• For Constable Posts: 18-28 years
• For Sub-Inspectors (SI) Posts: 20-28 years
Please note: The given age limit includes a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit prescribed as a one-time measure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Selection Process for RPF Constable/ SI Recruitment 2024
The selection process for both Constable and Sub-Inspector posts in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) includes:
• Written Exams (CBT)
• Physical Test
• Medical Test
• Document Verification
Examination Fee for RPF Constable Recruitment
• For General and OBC category candidates: ₹500
• For SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Females, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates: ₹250
Note: The Examination fee can be paid online.
Examination Fee Refund: Candidates who participate in CBT will get a refund of their examination fee (after deducting bank charges) as mentioned below:
• For General and OBC category candidates: ₹400 shall be refunded.
• For SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates: ₹250 shall be refunded.
